SAVE THE CAT HIDA Cat Shelter

SAVE THE CAT HIDA シェルター

SAVE THE CAT HIDA Cat Shelter is a facility established as part of the “SAVE THE CAT HIDA” project. This initiative aims to make Hida City Japan's most cat-friendly town. It utilizes Furusato Nozei (the hometown tax donation system) and seeks to solve local issues through cat rescue-based business.

With a voluntary donation of 500 yen or more, you can enter the shelter and interact with the rescued cats. *Reservations required

The shelter also includes a shop where it sells limited-edition cat-themed packaged Hida specialties and other items in collaboration with businesses in Hida City.
