Mirai Izakaya

居酒屋 味蕾

Enjoy local Hida fare at the Mirai izakaya thanks to its menu of classic dishes alongside regular izakaya dishes.

Try Hida dishes like Tsukemono Steak (sauteed pickled vegetables), Kei-chan (stir-fried chicken in miso/soy sauce tare with vegetables), stewed beef tendon, pufferfish (fugu) and—of course—Hida beef.

Local sake like Horai (Watanabe Brewery) or Shiramayumi (Kaba Brewery) are both on the menu, alongside beer, wine, and spirits.

With seating available at the counter, on the tatami or upstairs, Mirai is suitable for both groups or individual travelers alike.
