Dining Shoen

ダイニング笑円

Operated by an Okinawa native, Dining Shoen is an izakaya that serves authentic Okinawan and Hida cuisine.

Some of the restaurant’s Okinawan dishes include goya (bitter melon) champuru—a famous stir fry dish made with bitter melon, tofu, spam, and eggs—Okinawa soba, Soki soba, Okinawa tempura, and grilled mozuku seaweed.

Pair these dishes with Hida and izakaya classics, such as karaage (fried chicken), Hida beef yakiniku (Japanese-style barbecue), salt-grilled fish, tofu steak, gyoza, sashimi, udon, ramen, and so much more!

Drink-wise, the izakaya serves a plethora of Japanese staples, including beer, sake, shochu (a Japanese distilled alcoholic beverage), whiskey, and sours, as well as awamori, a distilled alcoholic beverage that originated in Okinawa. Dining Shoen offers 90- and 120-minute all-you-can-drink options.
