Mt. Koshirakimine and Mt. Shirakimine

小白木峰・白木峰

You'll be welcomed by a large beech forest shortly after starting your hike, with the beech trees becoming shorter and smaller as you approach the summit of Mt. Koshirakimine. Feel the history of these trees shaped by nature and local climate as you hike your way up the mountain.

After crossing to the summit of Mt. Shirakimine, head east to see a cluster of ponds. You'll want to make a quick stop at the "floating island pond," just a short 20-minute hike from the summit, a place where the reflection of the clouds and surrounding flowers offers a breathtaking scene.
