神岡飛騨獅子まつり
Watch in awe and enjoyment on the 3rd Sunday of October every year at the Kamioka Hida Lion Festival. Lion dance performances take place on a special stage set up beside Kamioka Castle, with dance troupes often invited from outside the Hida region.
Enjoy these lion dances in view of the historic castle—preserved and handed down for generations—dine on local foods like Midarashi dango, Goheimochi or ramen, or enjoy a tea gathering at the Former Matsuba Family home.
