Baba no Kadoya

馬場のかどや

Located near the Seto Canal, Baba no Kadoya is a yakitori restaurant that sells over 40 different kinds of skewers, including meat, seafood, and vegetable varieties. Here, you can enjoy typical Japanese flavors like garlic chicken or uncommon options like cheese avocado. You can even purchase melt-in-your-mouth Hida beef! The majority of the skewers cost between 100 and 200 yen, so you can order a variety of flavors without breaking the bank.

Of course, Baba no Kadoya has an impressive drink menu to match its skewer offerings—serving beer, sours, sake, shochu (Japanese distilled alcoholic beverage), umeshu (plum wine), cider, and more.

The cozy eatery has a typical izakaya (Japanese-style bar) design and opens in the evening, making it a fun place to unwind at the end of the day.
