SATOYAMA STAY TONO-MACHI

SATOYAMA STAY TONO-MACHI, located on the street just around the corner from the Seto Canal—a symbol of Hida Furukawa—is a renovation of the approximately 80-year-old “Tomino-ya,” previously a Japanese-style snack bar that once stood in the corner of the former red-light district in this area.

The Tonomachi building underwent renovation in spring 2024 and has been reborn as a dog-friendly space. Relax with the whole family—dog included—and enjoy the charming, compact streets of Hida Furukawa, perfect for leisurely strolls.
