Nakanjo River Fishing Park

なかんじょ川つり公園

Nakanjo River Fishing Park is a nature-centered getaway located northwest of Hida Furukawa. The park’s tree-filled scenery and collection of rustic wooden log cabins surround the Nakanjo River, the main lure of the park.

The river plays host to a range of fun family-friendly activities, including line fishing, camping and tsukamidori (fishing by hand – great for younger generations!).

The clear and refreshing waters of Nakanjo River are decorated with stones, creating a picturesque environment. After a successful catch, visitors can enjoy salt-grilling the fish over a charcoal fire.

The park also offers on-site lodging in the form of log cabins that perfectly match the aesthetic of the area. What is more ideal than ending one’s day of outdoor fun in a charming cabin encircled by the sights and sounds of nature? The riverside rest area provides space for group meals. For those who can’t get enough of the outdoors, it’s possible to pitch your own tent at the campsite too.

Nakanjo River Fishing Park’s naturally beautiful setting and host of activities for all ages create lasting memories that are in harmony with nature.
