IORI TONOMACHI

A luxurious machiya townhouse along the Shirakabe Dozogai Street, welcoming only one group per day.

Visitors are captivated by the scenery woven by the Seto Canal and its approximately 1,000 koi fish. The interior of this luxurious machiya was created using an abundance of natural materials and traditional Hida crafts, with the bedroom offering soft lighting created using Sanchu washi paper. The view of the Shirakabe Dozogai Street from the windows is a special sight that even the architect found captivating.

In addition to a cypress bath, authentic Japanese breakfast, and a living room with a projector, guests can also make use of a partnered coworking facility just a minute's walk away, making it ideal for workation stays or group retreats.
