IORI STAY

"Travel like a human.” Iori Stay, which has four townhouses in the heart of Hida Furukawa, is committed to creating a homey and authentic stay for travellers visiting the area. To mimic the experience of living in Hida, Iori provides guests exclusive access to their very own renovated, traditional townhouse in a fabulous setting.

Choose from the four properties at IORI ICHINOMACHI, IORI KAWANAKA, IORI SETOGAWA and IORI 0510. From the outside, the quaint townhouses fit perfectly among the charming buildings of Hida Furukawa with white painted facades accented by wooden detailing — a warm, Japanese aesthetic that continues inside. Expect a host of amenities and services to guarantee an enjoyable stay, including a pick-up service from Takayama Station, Wi-Fi, complimentary local breakfast, onsen access at their partner Tanabe Ryokan, free parking, and much more.

Iori Stay works with local providers to bring guests Hida-grown food and information about regional activities. For example, for breakfast expect authentic Hida cuisine prepared by partner restaurant Kanoya with local and fresh ingredients daily. For daytime adventures, Iori Stay offers guests special deals for popular cycling tours, fishing tours, cooking classes, and sake tasting. The company’s friendly staff is more than willing to offer travel tips and information to guests over dinner or drinks and speak excellent English.

Iori Stay’s unique accommodations and attention to detail guarantees guests an unforgettable stay in an equally special town.
