Hida Nagareha Ski Resort

ひだ流葉スキー場

Being a mountainous area of Japan and blessed with ample snowfall every year it comes as no surprise that Hida and Gifu as a whole has a selection of ski resorts. One of the best of them, Hida Nagareha, is a great spot for couples, solo skiers and families with a diverse amount of slopes for beginners and the more experienced.

From the peak, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy powder snow during the winter season across three main courses and enjoy panoramic views of Mount Norikura and Mount Hotaka. Alternatively, take a rest at the summit restaurant, Kameen, to recharge mid-run.

The central ski house also plays host to a very good restaurant and the Nagareha M Plaza Hot Spring. Equipped with saunas and jacuzzis, it’s ideal for those with sore limbs after a hard day on the ski slopes.
