Fujinami Hatcho Footpath

藤波八丁遊歩道

Enjoy a calming stroll wrapped in the verdant, lush serenity of nature. The Fujinami Hatcho walking path lets visitors marvel at the beauty of valley foliage during the changing seasons.

Walk along this 500-meter long path along the western bank of the Takahara River. From spring to summer, enjoy the gentle shade of the trees overhead and listen to the whispers of the river as you follow the path.

Visit again in autumn to experience a completely different world of vibrant colors painted in shades of gold and red. Especially lovely are the 120 maples growing together in a copse halfway up the pathway. As you walk along, be in awe of the leaf-speckled carpet underfoot.
