Hida beef, alongside its superior sake, is a point of pride for Gifu residents and a myriad of restaurants serve up this elite form of beef for customers who come from far and wide for its melt-in-your-mouth texture and awesome flavors.

Part of the Speranza Hotel complex, Hidasyoku is a restaurant which specializes in Hida beef for reasonable prices.

Yakiniku (barbecue) with garlic sauce, Japanese traditional meals such as sukiyaki and shabu-shabu are all on the menu at Hidasyoku and this restaurant comes recommended as one of the finest in the prefecture and well worth any gourmand's time.
